What does the inside look like today?

So after closing, we visited our abode and snapped some photographs. Enjoy. For an understanding of how the rooms relate spatially, see the older posts that have existing floor plan views.

First here are the two new homeowners (of course the bank owns most of the place, but they are not allowed to use the property). Yes, it snowed about 4" at our house today, April 12, 2007.

We are the third owners of this house, the previous family lived there since 1964. It does not look as if they painted this room (toy room on plans) since perhaps the Ford administration. Also, notice the 1950 electricity went on a little fire at some point, (bottom left corner). The walls are really this ugly. It is good this blog does not have an odor feature, the entire house smells like the residents have been smoking inexpensive cigarettes non-stop since Eisenhower.

These are the stairs, which we have liked since the start. Quite nice, this picture doesn't do them justice.
