Our new neighbor brought us welcome brownies, nice.
We had some excitement, senior daughter E's foot and a nail met, precipitating a visit to the express care. E was reportedly quite brave, no crying.
Enjoy the pictures below. They are self-explanatory. The one of copper tubing illustrates (not well) that no good deed goes unpunished. We tried to recycle some copper tubing and a valve. The valve didn't leak when we cut it out, but after sweating it in, it leaked. Some pictures illustrate some nice electrical splices, some not-so-nice splices and some crispy wiring. Jenm noted at one point she is glad we are replacing the wiring, to even a layperson it doesn't appear to be sound.

Bill N. why did you kill my hammer?! RIP little friend, I will miss you.
When are viewing hours? You know my mortuary priority is for the saw. Also, let it be known, adolescent helper J. broke the hammer, not me.
i just have to say - the kids? a-dor-a-ble!!!
