Tonight billn completed the wiring of the circuit breaker panel. These pictures show the progression from start to finish.
Also, billn brought thermostat wires from the future boiler room (far end of the garage) to the different locations. The plan is to have five heating zones when we are done. The zones will be:
Kitchen
Living/Dining
Guest/Toy
Second floor bedrooms and bathroom
Master bedroom
Additionally, the boiler will serve the domestic hot water heater, as a sixth zone. Hopefully billn will complete the boiler and mechanical equipment installation before the winter comes.

"I have to say" I am more than a litle concerned about the "hopefully" statement. I hope this doesn't turn into the VS project....does electric heater and George ring a bell?
You don't need heat in VT until December of January. Put on a sweater. The cat will be fine, he has natural fur.
So explain to me if we don't need heat until December or January and this past year our heating season 8 months........will we be heating until August? Maybe I should post the picture of your children from the last time we didn't have heat? Dare me?

does it count if I dare jenm to post the picture?! if so, "I dare you, jenm, to post the picture. (pretty please, with sugar on top.)" if not, billn should certainly step up to the plate and accept the throw down ... errr... i mean, the challenge inherent in the dare!
btw ... i forgot to add - impressive on the wiring, so far!
Knock yourself out, that no-heat situation had zero to do with billn. He was not responsible for maintaining the heating equipment in the 19 century, basement apartment next to the river you currently live in.
If there is no heat in the 2007-2008 winter, you can blame billn.
